Two Ford Vehicles are 2021 Edmunds Top Rated Winners

Last month, Edmunds announced its list of Top Rated Awards for 2021. Alistar Weaver, editor-in-chief describes the process of choosing these vehicles:

“Every year, we test more than 300 vehicles on road and track, driving over half a million miles. Our process is the most robust in the business, and the winners are a true measure of excellence. Put simply, they’re the best vehicles on sale today.”

Among these winners were two Ford vehicles: the 2021 Ford F-15o, and the all-new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E, the new electric SUV that has been long anticipated from Ford.

The Ford F-150 beat the longstanding winner, the Ram 1500, with a narrow edge. This win comes with some very small, but crucial, changes to the 2021 Ford model, including 3 bed lengths, 3 cab configurations, and 6 engines to choose from. Alongside these options comes an assortment of available features, including front full lay-down seats and an onboard electric generator.

In addition, the F-150 lineup also features a hybrid model, which combines the power and capability you expect from a standard truck, with a much higher fuel economy (about 24 MPG, as compared to 19 or 22 combined with other engine options).

Top Rated Luxury EV
One does not normally see the word “Ford” and “luxury” in the same sentence, but the 2021 Mustang Mach-E has managed to accomplish this miracle. The Mach-E is not merely an electric version of the Mustang; instead, the Mach-E is a midsize SUV that takes only its styling cues from the famous sporty coupe. The family-friendly electric vehicle boasts plenty of room for adults and passengers, as well as cargo in the back.

The price tag is also not the luxurious part of this vehicle; the interior styling, materials, and attractive, user-friendly large touchscreen are just as luxurious as its competitors. Get over 300 miles within its electric range, at around 346 horsepower. This is the new vehicle to be on the lookout for!
