Operation Secret Santa Success for Bedford County Families

Over 100 nominations were received, and on December 11, two families were chosen for each store to sponsor. More information was gathered, like gift ideas for the kids and their families, and then Anthony and Justin headed out to shop!

Delivered with Care
Finally, on December 23rd, our team delivered these gifts to the four families, along with a full meal from Sonny’s BBQ, to help them celebrate and provide a little Christmas cheer for them!

These nominating families gave back to us just as much as we received from them. We are thankful for the opportunity to meet these parents and kids, and it humbled us watching them overflow with joy over something as simple as a new toy or pair of shoes.

Post-delivery, Anthony shared a story from one of the homes he visited. “When we told them we brought them a Christmas tree to decorate and enjoy, they pointed to their current tree: a photo of a tree on the wall,” he recalled. “I almost started crying being able to give them such a simple thing to help them celebrate Christmas with a decorated tree.”
